Dinner Last Night

Fresh garlic and olive oil
crushed and sautéed tomatoes
a sprinkle of oregano
and a bit of crushed red pepper
homemade marinara.
Nothing like the aroma
of Italian food cooking 
filling the air with the 
unmistakable scent
of melted cheese
and Italian seasonings.
Even the morning after
it smells like dinner.
